Richard is an award-winning director and producer whose work spans fictional narrative and documentary as short and long form entertainment as well as advertising, branded content and commissions from the art world. Documentary “7th&Hill” was awarded at the Palm Springs American Documentary Film Festival. Short films include commissions for Al Gore’s Live Earth initiative, from Johnny Depp and from contemporary artist Ryan Gander as well as original episodic short form series The Ghosts of Los Angeles written by Godfrey Hamilton. Work has been featured on The Sundance Channel, at Sundance and Tribeca and also includes large-scale commercial projects for the BBC, Rolls Royce, Sony PlayStation and Audi.

Paul and Amanda are the art directing half of award winning advertising creative team Kirke Hodgson, writing and art directing campaigns for long and short form content. With 22 years experience they’ve produced visual advertising for a plethora of products from branding whole countries to promoting tiny charities. Their specialism is film promotion for media brands, producing work for Sky, Discovery, Channel 4 and the BBC portfolio of TV channels and radio stations, including the D&AD nominated Life on Mars campaign. They’ve collaborated with Richard Carroll on many successful commercials and Rough Diamond represents their latest initiative.
